Rollo is a subscription tracker. It is built so that your subscriptions stay on your phone: there is no account, no sign-in and no Rollo server that stores what you enter.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter stays on your device and is never sent to us:

Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your device. We never see them.

What leaves your device

Rollo connects to the internet for three things only. None of them receives your subscription list.

1. Exchange rates. Once a day Rollo downloads public currency rates from Frankfurter and, as a fallback, from fawazahmed0/exchange-api (served through jsDelivr and Cloudflare). The request only asks for the day’s rates. It contains no information about you or your subscriptions. Like any web request, it reveals your device’s IP address to those services.

2. Purchases (RevenueCat). Rollo Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store. We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases and restore them on another device. RevenueCat receives your purchase history for Rollo (for example, that Rollo Pro was bought and when), your device’s App Store receipt, a random identifier it creates for this installation, and basic device information (such as the OS version, app version, locale and storefront). The identifier is anonymous: it is not tied to your name, email or any account. It is shown in Settings → Support as your support code. We do not see your payment details; Apple handles payment.

3. Crash reports (Sentry). If Rollo crashes or hits an error, a report is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. It contains technical information: the error and where in the code it happened, device model, OS and app version, and the screens visited just before. It is set up not to include personal information and it never contains your subscriptions.

How we use the data

We do not use any data for advertising. We do not track you across apps or websites, we do not sell data and we do not share it with data brokers.

Third parties

The services above only process data to provide their service to Rollo, under their own privacy policies and terms, which commit them to protecting that data at least as well as this policy does:
